Intensive In-Home (IIH) Services
Intensive In-Home (IIH) is a time-limited, community-based service designed to help youth ages 4–21 remain safely in their homes and communities or successfully transition home from an out-of-home placement. IIH supports youth experiencing significant emotional, behavioral, or mental health challenges that may place them at risk for hospitalization, incarceration, foster care, or group home placement.
Our approach combines clinical intervention, skills training, caregiver education, and service coordination to strengthen family functioning and promote lasting stability. Youth and caregivers receive practical support in areas such as effective communication, problem-solving, social interaction, emotional regulation, and symptom management.
Who We Serve
IIH is appropriate for youth with emotional and/or behavioral challenges who may have already participated in other community-based services. Common areas of need may include disruptive or conduct-related behaviors, trauma and stress-related concerns, mood disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders, and anxiety disorders.
